‘Teen Titans Go!’ Season 2 Announced

The Cartoon Network has announced a second season pick-up for the animation Teen Titans Go! The freshman comedy made its debut back in April and has since become a ratings grabber for the network. The show draws an average of 1.7 million total viewers per episode. Teen Titans has become the #1 program among kids and boys from ages 2 – 14.

‘Teen Titans Go!’ is a revamp of the short lived animation Teen Titans’. The new series has since hit the airwaves with the original voice cast and a new theme song with the help of DJ and Beastie Boys member Mix Master Mike. The show’s premise chronicles the superheroes as they as they attempt to save the world one day at a time while all living together as teenagers without adult supervision.

Season one of ‘Teen Titans Go!’ is currently underway, airing in a 7:30 p.m. time slot on the Cartoon Network, debuting in a comedy block that features ‘Johnny Test’ at 7:00 p.m. and ‘The Looney Tunes Show’ at 8:00 p.m. The cartoon series comes by way of Warner Bros. Animation, with executive producers Sam Register (Batman: The Brave and The Bold), Michael Jelenic (ThunderCats) and Aaron Horvath (MAD).
