‘Boardwalk Empire’ Season 4, ‘Clear History’ and ‘Hello Ladies’ Premiere Dates Announced

Nucky is coming back! HBO announced that prohibition-era drama Boardwalk Empire will return for its fourth season on Sunday, September 8th (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET/PT). Additionally, the premium channel also announced the premiere date for the fourth and final season of Eastbound & Down, as well as the dates for two upcoming projects from comedy heavyweights Larry David (Curb Your Enthusiasm) and Stephen Merchant (The Ricky Gervais Show, The Office).

Eastbound & Down will join Boardwalk Empire on Sundays beginning September 29th (10:00 p.m. ET/PT) with a final season that will find McBride’s Kenny living the American Dream. HBO’s Sunday night lineup will be rounded out by Merchant’s comedy Hello Ladies, also premiering on the 29th (10:30 p.m. ET/PT). The eight-episode first season will follow a gawky Englishman (Merchant) as he attempts to infiltrate L.A.’s inner circle of beautiful people in hopes of finding the woman of his dreams.

Finally, on Saturday, August 10th (9:00 p.m. ET/PT), HBO will debut Larry David’s comedy film Clear History. The film stars David as a marketing executive who cashes out of a start-up company just before it makes billions of dollars, leaving him humiliated and broke. Jon Hamm (Mad Men), Bill Hader (Saturday Night Live), Philip Baker Hall (Magnolia), Kate Hudson (How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days), Michael Keaton (Toy Story 3), Danny McBride (Eastbound & Down), Eva Mendes (Hitch), Amy Ryan (Gone Baby Gone) and J. B. Smoove (The Sitter) also star.
