Will Arnett Headed To ‘The Simpsons’

‘Up All Night’ actor Will Arnett has booked a guest role on Fox’s The Simpsons. According to TV Line, Arnett will voice the enemy of Homer Simpson in the show’s forthcoming 25th season of the animated comedy.

Arnett will play the role of Detective Gratman, who is described as the FBI’s top anti-piracy agent who sets his eyes on Homer, tracking down the family patriarch after he is thought to have downloaded illegal movies on the internet. Arnett will show up in the episode entitled ‘Steal This Episode’ which is slated to air sometime in December.

Arnett joins a guest star line-up of performers set to appear in season 25 that includes comedian Lisa Lampanelli, comic creator Stan Lee, Chef Gordon Ramsay, Aaron Sorkin of ‘The Newsroom’ and Kristen Wiig (Saturday Night Live).

On top of his latest casting in ‘The Simpons’, Arnett has been busy working on ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ in the role of Vernon Fenwick, ‘The Lego Movie’, ‘The Nut Job’ and the forthcoming ‘The Miller’ TV series. He has also appeared in the comedy series ‘30 Rock’ with Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey, ‘The Cleveland Show’, ‘Comedy Bang! Bang!’ and ‘Men in Black 3’.
