Showtime Confirms Upcoming Guest Stars For Upcoming Third Season Of ‘Homeland’

Ahead of its third season debut this coming September, Showtime’s hit series Homeland has announced a full line-up of guest performers fans can expect to see in the highly anticipated new episodes.

Those on board to bring drama to the series’ New Year include Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’s Joanna Merlin will guest star, as shared by the network. Merlin is scheduled to portray Grandma Lois, the mother of Jessica Brody. Season 3 will also include actor Nazanin Boniadi (How I Met Your Mother) in the role of Fara, who is described as a “capable analyst.”

Next up on the guest star roster is Amy Morton (Boss). Mortem is set to take on the character Erin Kimball, the CIA appointed attorney for Claire Danes’ Carrie Mathison. Gary Wilmes (Louie) will play Dr. Richardson, a psychiatrist who is enlisted to help Dana Brody deal with recent events. Sam Underwood (The Last Keepers) will appear as Leo. Underwood’s Leo will become friendly with Dana.

Tracy Letts (Prison Break) as Senator Andrew Lockhart, Lawrence Clayton (The Big C) as Admiral Jim Pennington and Pedro Pascal (Graceland) as Majority Counsel David Portillo, are also set to aapear as the probe into the terror attacks on US soil continues.

‘Homeland’ season 3 is scheduled to premiere on Sunday, September 29th at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
