ABC Announces 11 Series Renewals for the 2013-2014 Television Season

Modern Family Season 4 Episode 22 My Hero (16)

Late Friday (May 10th) evening, ABC announced that Modern Family, Once Upon A Time, Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal, Revenge, Suburgatory, The Middle, Last Man Standing, Castle and freshman series Nashville have all been picked up for the 2013-2014 season. As EW reports, the network also later picked up bubble comedy The Neighbors about a family that moves into a neighborhood populated by aliens for a second season.

The bevy of pick-ups comes as good news for fans of ABC’s family comedies and addictive soaps. However, not all of ABC’s series were spared: the cult comedy Happy Endings was axed after three seasons, while Dana Delany’s Body of Proof, Red Widow, How to Live with Your Parents for the Rest of Your Life, Family Tools and Reba McEntire’s Malibu Country were all cancelled as well.

ABC will announce their full 2013-2014 schedule Tuesday, May 14th at their annual upfront presentation.

Unbelievable! They keep old, boring and tired Greys Anatomy and take off Body of Proof. They leave on the inane neighbors and take off How to live with your parents? I just can’t figure out the networks thinkings That’s why I mostly watch AMC, TNT, and the like and try to stay away from ABC, NBC and Fox so I don’t get too disappointed if I like a program. The only shows I watch (ed) on ABC were Scandal, Modern Family and 🙁 Body of Proof. Alas, th’ve done it again!
