‘Whitney,’ ‘Up All Night,’ ‘Guys With Kids’ and ‘1600 Penn’ Cancelled By NBC May 10, 2013 News, Whitney NBC cleared the decks for their 2013-2014 season yesterday with a slew of sitcom cancellations. TV Line reports Whitney, 1600 Penn, Guys with Kids and Up All Night were all officially given their walking papers. They join the previously cancelled Deception, Do No Harm and Animal Practice. As TV Line indicates, there could be more cancellation announcements from NBC on the horizon as there is no word yet on the fate of The New Normal, Go On or cult favorite Community. On the upside, critical darling Parks and Recreation has been renewed for a sixth season, and NBC previously renewed five dramas, including Grimm and their hit freshman series Chicago Fire. NBC will announce their full 2013-2014 lineup Monday, May 13th during their annual upfronts presentation.
