‘Go On’ Cancelled by NBC

NBC’s cancellation spree has claimed another victim in Go On.

TV Line confirms that Matthew Perry’s ensemble sitcom about a grief counseling group will not be returning in the fall. Go On started out strong in the ratings garnering roughly 10 million viewers at its peak, but it quickly began to flag without The Voice as its lead-in. It now joins Deception, 1600 Penn, Animal Practice, Whitney, Up All Night, Guys With Kids and Do No Harm in NBC’s 2012-2013 schedule graveyard.

So far, Parks and Recreation is the only sitcom on NBC’s schedule to receive a pick-up for the fall. The fate of Community and The New Normal is still up in the air, but TV Line suggests that more cancellations could be coming.

NBC will announce their full 2013-2014 lineup Monday, May 13th during their annual upfront presentation.
