‘Life’s Too Short’ Special To Air On HBO

Creators Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant have announced the return of Life’s Too Short with a special presentation set to air on HBO. The feature will debut on July 5, set to spotlight actor Warwick Davis, a little person who is in the midst of trying to jump start his career.

The last time viewers saw Davis during the series’ seventh season, the actor was rubbing elbows with some of Hollywood’s hottest performers: Johnny Depp (The Pirates of the Caribbean), Liam Neeson (Schindler’s List), music artist Sting, Helena Bonham Carter (Harry Potter), Steve Carell (The Office) and Cat Deeley (So You Think You Can Dance), in the hopes that they would help his stagnate career.

Davis is back with things now looking up for the former bachelor who is now living with his new girlfriend, Amy. The ‘Life’s Too Short’ special will also chronicle Davis as he tries to raise money to fund the ‘Willow’ sequel with actor Val Kilmer.

‘Life’s Too Short’ is executive produced by writer/director Ricky Gervais, Stephen Merchant and Mark Freeland with the help of producer Charlie Hanson. Warwick Davis is best known for his roles in the ‘Harry Potter’ franchise, ‘Stars Wars’, ‘Jack the Giant Slayer’, ‘Unbroken’ and more.
