NBC Summer 2013 Premiere Dates

Save Me - Season Pilot

Anne Heche, Bear Grylls and Rachel Griffiths will be heating things up at NBC this summer.

The network has set the premiere dates for its upcoming summer shows Save Me, Get Out Alive With Bear Grylls, Camp and American Ninja Warrior. They will be joined by last summer’s juggernaut America’s Got Talent, which is returning for an eighth season.

NBC’s two scripted offerings are Save Me, which stars Anne Heche as a “Midwestern mom and wife who undergoes a spiritual awakening after suffering a near-death experience,” and Camp, a series about “the campers and counselors at Little Otter Family Camp, where summer memories are made.” Rachel Griffiths (Six Feet Under) will be on-hand as a recent divorcee and the camp’s director.

On the reality side, there’s Get Out Alive With Bear Grylls, an adventure-themed reality competition that will feature 10 teams of two being pushed “beyond their wildest imaginations as they venture into the unforgiving and dramatic landscape of New Zealand’s South Island” under the direction of Grylls. Get Out Alive will be joined by returning favorites American Ninja Warrior and America’s Got Talent.
