‘Crash & Bernstein’ Season 2 Announced

Disney XD's Crash & Bernstein

Disney XD has given Crash & Bernstein a second season renewal following the show’s successful ratings among total viewers and boy demographics. Adam Bonnett, the Senior Vice President of Original Programming at Disney Channels Worldwide, made the official announcement over the pick-up.

“Disney XD continues to push creative boundaries for a sitcom and ‘Crash & Bernstein’ delivers on this promise week in, week out. Crash has quickly become an iconic character on the network, and we look forward to a second season of more purple attitude and disruptive fun with this talented cast and creative team.”

‘Crash & Bernstein’ centers on the character Wyatt Bernstein, a boy living in a house full of girls until his Build-A-Bestie stuffed animal, Crash, comes to life. Bonded like “brothers”, the series follows the adventures ‘Crash & Bernstein’.

The series comes from creator Eric Friedman (I’m In The Band) and executive producers Mike Larsen (Real Time with Bill Maher), Jim Armogida and Steve Armogida (Grounded for Life). The cast includes Cole Jensen as Wyatt, Tim Lagasse as Crash, Oana Gregory as Amanda, Landry Bender as Cleo and Aaron R. Landon as Pesto.

Filming on the It’s A Laugh Productions will continue in Van Nuys, California this July with a fall 2013 premiere set in place. ‘Crash & Bernstein’ airs Mondays at 8:30 p.m. on Disney XD.
