‘Jessie’ Season 3 Announced

Jessie Season 2 Episode 4 101 Lizards (2)

The Disney Channel has given Jessie a third season order, Adam Bonnett, the senior vice president of the network, has shared. Season three will kick off production in Los Angeles this coming July and will premiere in the fall of 2013.

Jessie’s renewal comes following the success of the show that has become the no. 1 series among kids 2-11 years old. The show’s star, Debby Ryan, has also contributed to making the Disney comedy one of the most watched series. The show centers on Ryan’s title character, a New York nanny who takes care of the famous four pack, the Ross family.

‘Jessie’ includes a cast line-up of the already mentioned Debby Ryan (The Suite Life on Deck), Kevin Chamberlin (The Addams Family), Peyton List (Diary of a Wimpy Kid), Karan Brar (Diary of a Wimpy Kid”), Cameron Boyce (Grown Ups 2) and Skai Jackson (Royal Pains) as Zuri.

“Our viewers deeply connect with this cast of characters, and the upcoming season will focus on the Ross kids beginning to navigate young adulthood while challenging their favorite nanny with new and entertaining situations,” Bonnett said.

The show is currently in its second season with plans to premiere the season finale sometime in September. ‘Jessie’ airs on Fridays on the Disney channel.
