Former ‘Royal Pains’ Actress Jill Flint to Guest on ‘Elementary’

The folks over at TV Guide reported exclusively yesterday that former ‘Royal Pains’ alum actress Jill Flint will be making a guest appearance in an upcoming episode of the new CBS drama Elementary.

She will play Alysa Darvin, a “beguiling young woman who catches the eye of Detective Bell (Jon Michael Hill) when he helps Sherlock (Jonny Lee Miller) investigate a heist in the middle of a blizzard”. The episode is slated to air on April 4.

As a refresher, ‘Elementary’ is a modern-day take on the legendary sleuth Sherlock Holmes, who now lives in New York City after a somewhat forced stint in drug rehab by his as-yet-to-be-see father and is “partnered” up with Dr. Joan Watson (Lucy Liu), who serves as his sober companion.

Among Flint’s TV credits are episodes of the short-lived shows ‘Conviction’ and ‘Six Degrees’ as well as guest roles in ‘Gossip Girl’, ‘Nurse Jackie’ and ‘The Good Wife’. She also appeared in the box office films ‘The Women’, ‘Cadillac Records’ and a cameo in ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’.

The next new episode of the debut season of ‘Elementary’ is expected to air on CBS on Thursday, March 14 at 10/9c.
