Sarah Michelle Gellar Joins Robin Williams In ‘Crazy Ones’

Former star of the short lived CW series ‘Ringer’, Sarah Michelle Gellar, is returning back to TV land in a new series alongside comedian and veteran performer Robin Williams (Mrs. Doubtfire). According to Deadline, Gellar has signed on to play the on screen daughter Sydney of ad agency owner Simon (Williams) in the CBS comedy Crazy Ones. Together the duo will work side by side in the world of advertising. The series is a single camera comedy.

‘Crazy Ones’ comes from David E. Kelley who will also executive produce with the help of director Jason Winer (Arthur, The Adventures of Big Handsome Guy and His Little Friend). The pilot will be produced through 20th Century TV. Gellar is widely known for her role as Buffy in ‘Buffy The Vampire Slayer’. She has also starred in the drama ‘Cruel Intentions’ opposite Ryan Phillippe, the long running soap opera ‘All My Children’, ‘Scooby-Doo’, the comedy series ‘Robot Chicken’, Fox’s ‘The Simpsons’ in the role Gina Vendetti, the TV movie ‘The Wonderful Maladys’ and the film ‘The Air I Breathe’.
