Hilary Duff To Guest Star On ‘Raising Hope’

The multi-talented Hilary Duff is headed to Fox’s Raising Hope, E!Online has shared. Duff has been tapped to play the ex-girlfriend Rachel of Jimmy, portrayed by actor Lucas Neff. The singer, actress and novelist will make her grand entrance just after Jimmy marries Sabrina (Shannon Woodward) when she befriends the new bride.

Duff’s guest appearance will take place in Raising Hope’s February 26th episode entitled ‘The Old Girl’. Duff will appear in just one episode of the series. It is the actress’s first television appearance since the birth of her son Luca with husband Mike Comrie.

The news of Duff’s latest guest appearance comes after the performer sealed a deal last year in August to both appear and produce for 20th Century Fox. “Ok it’s official! Very excited about my development deal with 20th century fox!! t.v. here I come! :),” she shared with fans on Twitter after breaking the deal.

Over the years the 26-year-old has appeared in ‘A Cinderella Story’, the recently departed CW series ‘Gossip Girl’, the family movie ‘Cheaper by the Dozen’, ‘Lizzie McGuire’, ‘Frasier’, the comedy series ‘Community’ and more.
