Actress Sarah Chalke to Appear on ‘Grey’s Anatomy’

Playing a doctor should come naturally to actress Sarah Chalke, who played Dr. Elliot Reid for nine seasons on the popular NBC comedy ‘Scrubs’; and now she just MIGHT be slipping on scrubs (pun intended) once again, as TV Line is reporting that she will be guest starring in an upcoming episode of the long-running ABC medical drama Grey’s Anatomy.

Few details are available at this time as to whether Chalke will be portray a patient or a member of the hospital’s staff, but considering she is only set to appear in one episode, it is possible she could be a patient.

Chalke will soon be seen in the new ABC comedy ‘How to Live with Your Parents (For the Rest of Your Life)’ that is set to debut on Wednesday, April 3; but her other TV credits include her role on ‘Roseanne’, the short-lived series ‘Mad Love’ and guest appearances on ‘How I Met Your Mother’ and ‘Cougar Town’ as well as the leading roles in the made-for-TV movies ‘Maneater’ and ‘Why I Wore Lipstick to My Mastectomy’.

‘Grey’s Anatomy’ is now in its 9th season on ABC with its next new episode set to air on Thursday, January 31 at 9/8c.
