History Channel Debuts Trailer For ‘The Bible’ Miniseries Event

History Channel has released the first trailer for their upcoming 10-hour miniseries event The Bible. The Bible comes from husband and wife team Roma Downey (Touched by an Angel) and Mark Burnett (Survivor, The Voice), and will be comprised of tales from Genesis straight through the Book of Revelation. The epic trailer hits many familiar beats including the birth of Jesus, Moses and the burning bush, and Noah and the Ark. In addition to producing The Bible, Downey also appears as Mother Mary. The series boasts a score from Oscar-award winning composer Hans Zimmer and voice-over work from frequent narrator Keith David (Unforgivable Blackness: The Rise and Fall of Jack Johnson).

The first part of The Bible premieres March 3rd on The History Channel. The series will be available on Blu-ray and DVD shortly after.
