Revenge Season 2 Review “Sabotage” – Nothing for a Lot of Something

Revenge Season 2 Episode 11 Sabotage (6)
I would really love to tell you what happened in the final moments of “Sabotage,” this week’s episode of Revenge, but my DVR cut it off. The last thing I saw was Emily and Daniel sharing a bad bottle of wine that he bought for a million dollars…and then nothing. But if it was anything like the rest of the episode, it was probably very confusing.

I’m still managing to hold onto the plot threads in this show, but it is starting to feel like I’m fighting a losing battle. With the addition of the Initiative Lady, things have gotten really murky. The only thing I know for certain anymore is that Emily and Nolan have each other’s backs, because I’m not entirely sold on Aiden’s loyalty to her. And as for Amanda and Jack and Declan…they might as well be on a different show these days.

So, it seemed like Emily might have met with misfortune as the episode opened with her lying in a puddle of blood, but it was just part of an elaborate scheme to…um…I’m not entirely certain, but it had something to do with the Initiative Lady. This is what I mean; I’m watching the episode as closely as possible, but it seems as if I’m always two steps behind what’s going on.

I do know that Emily and Daniel are getting closer and Aiden doesn’t like it. Initiative Lady has Emily in her sights since she’s linked into cameras at Grayson Global and knows that Emily is up to something. Someone is framing Nolan’s ex-squeeze, Marco, making it look as if he he’s working against Nolan on behalf of Daniel and I have a feeling it’s Nolan’s girlfriend. Victoria is getting a lot of attention from a business rival of Conrad’s (shout out to guest star Dylan Walsh) while Conrad considers a bid for public office.

On the other side of town, Amanda bought a gun to scare off the brothers who are terrorizing her family, while Declan and Charlotte convinced Conrad to use his clout to get Jack out of jail. Like I said, it’s as if they’re occupying a spin-off world.

So, what did you think about the episode? Are you as glued to the screen as you were at this time last year or has your attention started to wander away from the Hamptons? Let me know below! And remember you can always follow me on Twitter @krieli1 so you never miss a review.
