‘Girls’ Season 2 Posters Feature Anti-Resolutions And A New “Kind Of” Mature Motto For Hannah

When we last saw Hannah (Lena Dunham) she was sitting on a beach in the middle of nowhere, eating cake out of a tinfoil wrapper and no doubt contemplating the string of decisions that led her to that very moment. It was a downer of an ending, but the new Girls season two poster features a tagline that suggests there might just be hope for Hannah yet.

“Almost getting it kind of together” sounds downright mature for Hannah, and it’s the perfect mission statement for all four of the titular girls. A little maturation will go a long way for all of them, but let’s be real, we wouldn’t want them to grow up too fast, would we?

In addition to the official poster, HBO also released a series of anti-resolution posters just in time for the New Year. Among the resolutions that the Girls‘ characters are destined to break is the recently married Jessa’s (Jemima Kirke) vow “not to flirt with my boss” (guess that means someone is getting a job) and Charlie’s (Christopher Abbott) vow to “stop dating younger women.”

Season two of Girls premieres Sunday, January 13th at 9pm on HBO.
