“All Roads Lead To Whitechapel” in BBC America’s New ‘Ripper Street’ Trailer [Video] December 6, 2012 News, Ripper Street BBC America is gearing up for the January premiere of their new Jack the Ripper-inspired drama Ripper Street with a gritty trailer that takes us inside the famous H Division of London’s police force. Set in 1889, Ripper Street will focus on the H Division’s attempts to restore calm to the streets of London in the aftermath of Jack the Ripper’s killing spree. Unfortunately, for the officers, “all roads lead to Whitechapel,” and the threat that the Ripper will return always looms. Ripper Street stars Matthew Macfadyen (MI-5) as Inspector Edmund Reid, the head of the H Division who is still grappling with the fact that he could not catch the Ripper. The series also stars Jerome Flynn (Game of Thrones), MyAnna Buring (The Twilight Saga), Adam Rothenberg (Alcatraz) and David Dawson (Luther). Ripper Street premieres Saturday, January 19th at 9/8c on BBC America.
