BBC One Unveils A Festive ‘Call the Midwife’ Christmas Special Trailer [Video] December 3, 2012 BBC UK, News The first season of Call the Midwife has come to an end, but BBC One has one more treat to offer fans before the second season commences in early 2013: a Christmas special, set to air on Christmas day in the UK. The network has released a trailer for the special, which features the nuns and midwives of Nonnatus House decking the halls, overseeing a community Christmas pageant and…finding a baby on their doorstep? It seems that just because it’s Christmas, that doesn’t mean Chummy, Jenny Lee and the other midwives are going to get a break from their usual baby drama. The Call the Midwife Christmas special will air December 25th on BBC One in the UK. Stateside fans take heart, although no official American air date has been confirmed, the special is rumored to be set to air on December 30th on your local PBS station.
