CBS To Air Crossover Episodes Of ‘CSI’ & ‘CSI:NY’ November 26, 2012 CSI, CSI:NY, News TV producers behind CBS’ CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and CSI: NY will be teaming up to work on the same case in a crossover episode that is set to air this coming February on the network. The plot will chronicle Detective Mac Taylor (Gary Sinise) whose travels to Las Vegas to see his girlfriend, Christine. His trip ends badly however when he discovers she is MIA. Sinise’s Taylor will then get together with the help of with D.B. Russell (Ted Danson) and his Las Vegas CSI team in an effort to find her. The episode is slated to air on Feb. 6th at 10:00 pm est. With the rest of the case set to be explored two nights later on Feb. 8th 9 pm est, the ‘CSI: NY’ team will resume the search for Taylor’s girlfriend with Russell making his way to the Big Apple to assist Taylor. Finally catching a break in the case, the team is able to capture one of the men responsible for Christine’s kidnapping, but not Mac’s girlfriend whose whereabouts are still unknown. With time ticking away Taylor may just break his code of ethics to track down Christine, putting his job in jeopardy. Tell us what you think ‘CSI’ fans. Yet we are being made to watch secondary characters such as Christine and Lovato steal valuable time away from the rest of the CSI team. As a loyal viewer, I want to see Mac, Jo, Flack, Sid and the rest of the gang. I could not care less about some new characters that are eleventh hour add-ons, that add nothing to the dimension of friendship and camaraderie of the main players that we have grown to love over the last 9 seasons.
