HBO Announces ‘Louis C.K.’ Comedy Special

HBO has announced the upcoming arrival of an exclusive Louis C.K. comedy special that will air sometime next year. As shared by Michael Lombardo, the president of HBO’s programming, the network will welcome Louis back once again with a one hour standup comedy routine.

“I’m delighted to welcome the gifted Louis CK back to HBO,” Lombardo shared. Adding, “This comic genius remains one of the freshest voices on the scene, and HBO is proud to provide an uncensored forum for his provocative humor.”

Louis C.K.’s special act comes from footage captured during the comedian’s 16 city tour that is currently underway with a February end date. The special presentation was directed by the Emmy award-winning star himself, who boasts a long line of entertaining credits.

Louis C.K. is best known for his work on FX in ‘Louie’, as well as ‘Parks and Recreation’, ‘The Invention of Lying’, the big screen feature ‘Role Models’, ‘Lucky Louis: The Making of a Sitcom’, ‘The Saturday Live Show’, The Dana Carvey Show’, the TV movie ‘Hello There’, ‘Oddville, MTV’, the TV series ‘Home Movies’, ‘The Chris Rock Show’, ‘Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist’, and more.
