Legend of the Seeker Alum to Recur on ‘Beauty and the Beast’ November 6, 2012 Beauty and The Beast, News Actress Bridget Regan, best known for her role of Kahlan Amnell on the syndicated series ‘Legend of the Seeker’, has landed a recurring role in the new CW series Beauty and the Beast. First announced by the actress herself on Twitter, then picked up by TV Line, Regan will play Alex, the one-time fiancee of Vincent (series regular Jay Ryan), who “for years has believed that the love of her life died in Afghanistan” only to discover “that he is very much alive”. Since the last episode of ‘Legend of the Seeker’ aired in May of 2010, Regan has appeared in episodes of ‘Perception’, ‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ and ‘Person of Interest’ as well as a role in the made-for-TV movie ‘Hide’ and the independent film ‘The Best and the Brightest’. Her prior TV credits also include the short-lived series ‘The Black Donnelleys’. ‘Beauty and the Beast’ will air its next new episode from its debut season this Thursday, November 8 at 9/8c on The CW.
