For fans of the ABC Family drama ‘Kyle XY’ and the new comedy Baby Daddy, you can expect a mini-reunion of the latter (for at least three episodes).

Why, you ask? Well, according to The Hollywood Reporter, actor Matt Dallas, who played the lead role in the sci-fi-laced family drama ‘Kyle XY’ will be appearing in about three episodes of ‘Baby Daddy’ when the sitcom returns for its second season in 2013. The mini-reunion is due to the fact that ‘Baby Daddy’ lead actor Jean-Luc Bilodeau appeared alongside Dallas during the three seasons of ‘Kyle XY’.

As a refresher, Bilodeau stars as Ben, a “twentysomething navigating the world of single parenthood with the help of his mom Bonnie (played by Melissa Peterman of ‘Reba’ fame), his brother Danny (played by Derek Theler) and his two close friends Riley (Chelsea Kane) and Tucker (Tahj Mowry)”.

Dallas will play the “hard-working Fitch Douglas, the typical perfect guy who’s rugged but sensitive, dedicated but laid back”. It is said he will sweep Riley right off her feet, evoking Ben’s wrath just as he is developing feelings for her.

Among Dallas’ other credits are the short-lived TV series ‘Eastwick’, the made-for-TV movie ‘Beauty and the Briefcase’ with Hillary Duff and the upcoming made-for-TV movie ‘Naughty or Nice’.

‘Baby Daddy’ will be back for its second season on ABC Family in spring 2013.
