Alphas If Memory Serves Season 2 Episode 11 (6)

Actor Ryan Cartwright, who plays Gary Bell on the Syfy series ‘Alphas’, will be making a guest appearance on the popular CBS comedy The Big Bang Theory on November 15.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Cartwright will play Cole, a classmate of Penny’s (Kaley Cuoco). Yep, you read that right it looks like Penny is going back to school and will make a new friend in Cole, who could become a problem for her insecure boyfriend Leonard (Johnny Galecki).

Executive producer Steve Molaro had this to share about this storyline, “(Penny is) an aspiring actress and she’s been here for four or five years now and got that one commercial but nothing huge happened. We would like to see more for Penny and I think that’s something where we’re all thinking about and discussing, whether it’s on the acting side or some other avenue. We definitely would like to expand Penny’s life.”

TV viewers will also recognize the British-born Cartwright for his roles in ‘Bones’ and ‘Mad Men’.

‘The Big Bang Theory’, which is now in its 6th season on CBS, will air a new episode tonight, October 25 at 8/7c.
