The critically acclaimed, ’50s era drama The Hour is returning to BBC America’s Dramaville for its second season this fall, and the cable channel has released a sleek new trailer to prepare us for Bel (Romola Garai), Freddie (Ben Whishaw) and Hector’s (Dominic West) upcoming newsroom exploits. This season picks up in 1957, where the original trio will be joined by an “eccentric” new colleague in the form of Randall Brown (Peter Capaldi), who will be taking on the Head of News position.

The trailer teases that this year the characters personal and professional lives will become more muddled than ever before, and from the looks of things that’s going to be especially true for Hector whose extracurricular activities appear to land him in serious trouble. Meanwhile, Freddie will be chasing after another dangerous story. “You are charging towards a loaded gun, and you think you can miraculously dodge the bullet,” Bel tells him. Check out the trailer for yourself below for a longer look at what’s coming up.

Season two of The Hour premieres Nov. 28 at 9/8c on BBC America.
