Cartoon Network To Revamp ‘The Tom And Jerry Show’

The Tom and Jerry Show will be making a comeback on the Cartoon Network. The classic characters and their relentless but hilarious cat and mouse games will be back in action with a more modernized look against new backdrops that include medieval castles and scientist’s labs, according to the network.

Discussing the return of the classic cartoon, Sam Register, executive vice president of creative affairs at Warner Bros. Animation, says he is looking to expose a new generation to the well-known duo. “Tom and Jerry are two of the most iconic characters on the planet,” Register shared. “While it’s important we honor their great legacy, we don’t want to keep them in the archives. We want to introduce them to a new generation of fans. As we have done with The Looney Tunes Show, The Tom and Jerry Show will bring Tom and Jerry into a contemporary environment and tell hilarious stories that kids and adults will love.”

‘The Tom and Jerry Show’ will make its debut soon with two 11-minute shorts set to be revealed. Are you ready to see the famous enemies featured an all-new storyline once again? Leave us your comments below.
