‘America’s Next Top Model’ Cycle 20 Announced

The CW has decided to renew the Tyra Banks competition series America’s Next Top Model, bringing the show into cycle 20. President Mark Pedowitz announced the news of the pick up of the new season that is set to premiere sometime in the summer of 2013.

With a mission to enhance its summer schedule line-up with original programming, the network’s hit series Top Model will also see some refreshing changes. The series plans to feature the addition of male models that will compete in the new cycle. Together both the female and male contestants will go nose to nose with one another while sharing the same house.

The rest of ‘America’s Next Top Model’ format will stay the same with fans encouraged to vote for their choice model through a slew of social media outlets. ANTM comes from executive producers Ken Mok, creator Tyra Banks and Laura Fuest Silva. The show is currently airing its 19th cycle on the CW network with Banks still on board as host.
