ABC Family Dramas January 2013 Premiere Dates Announced

Bunheads

Fans of the ABC Family dramas Switched at Birth, Bunheads, Pretty Little Liars and The Lying Game have a lot to look forward to when the new year rolls ’round. All four of the shows will be back with new episodes starting the second week of January 2013.

The second season of ‘Switched at Birth’ will begin on Monday, January 7 at 8/7c, showing the dramatic changes in the lives of the Kennish and Vasquez families after the verdict of the baby switch trial. Fans of the series will want to watch a special ‘Switched at Birth’ marathon that same day starting at 11 AM, leading into the season premiere.

Immediately following that night at 9/8c will be the return of the debut season of the dramedy ‘Bunheads’, picking up a couple months after Michelle (series star Sutton Foster) has left Paradise, returning to her former life in Las Vegas.

On Tuesday, January 8 the much-anticipated return of all-new episodes of the third season of ‘Pretty Little Liars’ will begin at 8/7c, finding that Radley Sanitarium has given Mona a clean bill of health (say what?!) and she is headed back to Rosewood High. What kind of havoc will that cause in the lives of those she tormented; especially Aria (Lucy Hale), Emily (Shay Mitchell), Hanna (Ashley Benson) and Spencer (Troian Bellisario)? Viewers will have to tune it to find out! To get fans in the right mood, ABC Family will air a special marathon of ‘Pretty Little Liars’ starting at 11 AM, leading up to the mid-season return.

Lastly, ‘The Lying Game’ will be back with an all-new season, starting on Tuesday, January 8 at 9/8c. As the twins’ (both played by lead Alexandra Chando) saga continues, there are more surprises, secrets and lie; including the reveal at the end of last season that Rebecca (Charisma Carpenter) is their birth mother.

Mark your calendars and be prepared for an adventuresome new year!
