Henry Ian Cusick

Last season he was a series regular on the much-hyped ABC Shonda Rhimes drama ‘Scandal’ and now actor Henry Ian Cusick will be making a guest appearance on the medical drama Body of Proof when the series returns to ABC early next year.

According to TV Guide, Cusick will play “a therapist who has patients that Dr. Megan Hunt (series star Dana Delany) and detective Tommy Sullivan (new cast member Mark Valley from ‘Harry’s Law’ and ‘Human Target’) are watching closely while investigating a homicide”.

Cusick, of course, is best known for his role of Desmond Hume on the ABC juggernaut ‘Lost’, but he has also appeared in TV shows like ‘Fringe’, ’24’ and ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’ as well as the box office film ‘Hitman’ alongside Timothy Olyphant (‘Justified’).

While ‘Body of Proof’ has yet to be given an official start date for its third season by ABC it is expected to air in early 2013, during the mid-season programming period.
