‘Robot Chicken’ Season 7 Announced

Robot Chicken will continue on for a seventh season with Adult Swim, the network announced. The sketch comedy series comes from creators and executive producers Seth Green (Austin Powers) and Matthew Senreich (Titan Maximum). The seventh season of ‘Robot Chicken’ is scheduled to debut in 2013 with all new episodes of the sixth season currently airing on Sundays at midnight.

This season the show will feature musical guest star 50 Cent, as well as the voices of actress Malin Akerman (The Bang Bang Club), Sarah Chalke (Scrubs), Kat Dennings (Two Broke Girls), Sam Elliott (Up in the Air), artist Ke$ha, Zachary Levi (Chuck), Seth MacFarlane (Family Guy), J.B. Smoove (Date Night), Stanley Tucci (The Hunger Games), Joss Whedon (The Avengers), Olivia Wilde (House), Alex Winter (Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure), Evan Rachel Wood (True Blood), and more.

Over the years ‘Robot Chicken’, that premiered back in 2005, has been billed one of Adult Swim’s top-rated original series. The Emmy Award winning series comes from Stoopid Monkey Productions’, owned by Green and Senreich, as well as the duo’s partners, executive producers, John Harvatine IV and Eric Towner. Janet Dimon is the supervising producer working alongside Zeb Wells who directs.
