Syfy’s ‘Being Human’ to Have Third Season Premiere in January 2013

Josh, Sally and Aidan - Being Human (US)

The third season of the Syfy version of Being Human [based on the U.K. original] will have its season premiere on Monday, January 14, 2013. And, fans of the show will be happy to hear that actress Kristen Hager, who plays Nora, the girlfriend of werewolf Josh (Sam Huntington), will now be a series regular.

As viewers will recall, the events of the second season finale saw the main characters in a “bit” of jeopardy with Aidan (Sam Witwer) buried alive as punishment from vampire leader Mother while Sally (Meaghan Rath) was lost in a state of limbo and Josh’s (Huntington) plot to kill his maker Ray endangered Nora (Hager) instead. The third season will consist of 13 episodes and will feature new and returning guest stars that include:

Mark Pellegrino (‘Lost’ and ‘Revolution’) as Aidan’s vampire mentor Bishop; Amy Aquino (‘Harry’s Law’ and ‘ER’) as Donna, a witch whose supernatural spells are sought out to help find Sally; Xander Berkeley (‘Nikita’ and ’24’) as Liam, father of purebred werewolf twins who is intent on locating his missing children; Bobby Campo (‘Final Destination’) as Max, a young mortician who develops a connection with Sally; and Kyle Schmid (‘Copper’ and ‘Blood Ties’), who returns as Aidan’s vampire protégé/”son” Henry.

So mark your calendars for January 14, 2013 at 9/8c for the premiere of the third season of ‘Being Human’ on Syfy.
