The CW Adds More ‘Oh Sit’ & ‘Breaking Pointe’

The CW has decided to stick with two of its freshman series Oh Sit and Breaking Pointe. Announced by President Mark Pedowitz, the green network has ordered up news seasons of each of the reality vehicles that have found success among fans.

For the unknown, ‘Oh Sit’ comes from creator and executive producers Phil Gurin, Deena Dill and Richard Joel. The competition series follows contestants as they attempt to make it through difficult obstacle courses in an effort to stay in the game and claim a chair. The series comes from The Gurin Company and 405 Productions.

‘Breaking Pointe’, more of a docu-series, chronicles the lives of dancers at the an extremely competitive ballet company, Ballet West, located in Salt Lake City, Utah. The series brings “beautiful and striking on-stage performances” and promises to leave “no bun undone.”

The show also gives an inside look at the women and men’s lives as they attempt to perfect their craft with a demanding schedule while dealing with their personal lives and taking on the competitive world of dance. The show comes from BBC Worldwide Productions with the help of executive producers Izzie Pick Ashcroft and Jane Tranter.

The CW plans to announce the premiere dates for both ‘Oh Sit’ and ‘Breaking Pointe’ shortly.
