Matthew Broderick Will Guest Star On ‘Modern Family’ September 26, 2012 Modern Family, News ABC’s award winning comedy Modern Family will welcome Ferris Bueller‘s hooky playing bad boy, Matthew Broderick, to their world in season four of the show that is set to premiere this month. Broderick has signed on as a guest star; set to play an over the top, neurotic friend to Phil Dunphy (Ty Burrell), TV Line has shared. No other details where revealed about Broderick’s guest stint. Currently the long time performer has been busy working on the Broadway production of ‘Nice Work I You Can Get It’. Over the years the New York native has also starred in the TV series ‘Adventure Time’, ‘New Year’s Eve’ as the character Mr. Buellerton, ‘Tower Heist’, the motion picture ‘Margaret’, FX’s hilarious comedy ‘Louie’, ‘Beach Lane’, ‘Bee Movie’, ‘Deck the Halls’, the film ‘Finding Amanda’, and more. The episode in which Broderick will appear in ‘Modern Family’ has yet to be released, but is sure to be announced soon. ‘Modern Family’ will return to the air with all new episodes September 26th at 9pm.
