FX’s ‘Totally Biased’ Second Cycle Announced

The FX Network will now air the second half of season 1 of the late night show Totally Biased with stand-up comic W. Kamau Bell. Fans will now get to see seven additional 30 minute installments of the show that features the funnyman discussing current politics, the happenings in pop culture, as well as race, religion, sex and the media.

Nick Grad, the Executive Vice President behind Original Programming for FX broke the good news. “What we’ve seen through five shows only reinforces our belief that Kamau is one of the sharpest, smartest and funniest young comedians in the business. He brings an interesting perspective to late-night TV and has proven to be very comfortable in this format. That, coupled with the experience that Chris Rock and Chuck Skylar bring to the show, makes this order an easy decision.”

‘Totally Biased’ comes from star of the show, Bell, and is executive produced by Chris Rock, Chuck Sklar and Keri Smith Esguia. Pleased over the network’s decision to continue on with the show, Bell shared his happiness. “I’m excited to be given the opportunity to continue working with the amazing FX and the brilliant Chris Rock. We’ll be putting out new episodes, even more Totally Biased than before.”

The second cycle of the series is scheduled to begin on Thursday, October 11th in a new time of 11:30 pm.
