Isla Fisher and Terry Crews Join Guest Star Roster for Returning ‘Arrested Development’

Arrested Development cast

Much to the delight of its avid fanbase, the cult sitcom Arrested Development will be making a comeback thanks to the folks over at Netflix. And, it will be adding two new faces to its guest star roster. Those faces belong to actress Isla Fisher and football player-turned-actor Terry Crews.

In a report made by TV Guide, the two thespians join an already growing list of guest stars that include John Slattery (‘Mad Men’), Broadway legend Liza Minnelli, Judy Greer (’27 Dresses’) and Scott Baio (‘Happy Days’); but there are no details on what role either Fisher or Crews will be playing.

For those who need a refresher, ‘Arrested Development’ tells the story of the highly dysfunctional Bluth family, who patriarch is imprisoned, leaving level-headed son Michael (Jason Bateman) in charge of the family’s affairs. But his spoiled family make that job nearly unbearable. It ran for three seasons from 2003 to 2006.

Fisher is best known for her roles in the box office films ‘Wedding Crashers’, ‘Definitely Maybe’ and ‘Confessions of a Shopaholic’, but got her big break on the Australian soap opera ‘Home and Away’. Crews, on the other hand, parlayed his sports career into TV and film roles, most notably the sitcom ‘Everybody Hates Chris’ and the action film franchise ‘The Expendables’.

The fourth season will air exclusively on Neflix in the spring of 2013.
