Randy Jackson To Return To ‘American Idol’

“The rumors are true”, TV Line is reporting when it comes the return of Randy Jackson as a judge on American Idol. After much back and forth a source has confirmed to the always reliable site that Jackson will in fact be back for another year with the recent added Pop diva Mariah Carey.

While Fox has chosen to maintain their silence surrounding Jackson and the other possible judging candidates, Simon Cowell has shared his thoughts on the reality series luring Jackson back into the fold of their revamped show. “Just heard Randy is back on Idol. Right decision,” Cowell tweeted. Fans are sure to agree. Jackson was the only judge left who has been with the series since season one. With Carey now added to the mix things are looking up for Idol.

The only position they have left to fill is one more judge with the candidates being rap star Nicki Minaj, country star Keith Urban, Enrique Iglesias, and former contestant Adam Lambert. At this point it looks as though both Minaj and Urban are in the running. Let us know what you think ‘American Idol’ fans. Are you happy to see Jackson sign on for season 12 of the Fox series?
