Buffy Alum Emma Caulfield to Appear on ‘Royal Pains’

Actress Emma Caulfield, best known for her role of demon-turned-human-turned-demon-again Anya on the long-running cult series Buffy, the Vampire Slayer, will be showing up on the popular USA Network medical-themed dramedy Royal Pains.

According to the folks over at TV Line, Caulfield will play Winnie, an ex-girlfriend of Hank’s (series lead Mark Feuerstein), who is a baker from his New Jersey hometown. As of right now, she will appear in two episodes slated for later in this current season.

Caulfield got her start on the original ‘Beverly Hills 90210’ and ‘General Hospital’ before landing her role on ‘Buffy’. More recently, she has appeared in a recurring role on ‘Life Unexpected’ and ‘Gigantic’ as well as guest appearances in episodes of ‘Once Upon a Time’ and ‘Leverage’. She also appeared in the box office film ‘Darkness Falls’ and the made-for-TV movies ‘I Want to Marry Ryan Banks’, ‘A Valentine Carol’ and ‘In Her Mother’s Footsteps’.

A new episode of ‘Royal Pains’, which is now in its fourth season, will actually air tonight (September 12) on the USA Network at 9/8c with the summer finale set to air next Wednesday, September 19.
