‘Sullivan & Son’ Season 2 Announced

TBS’ new comedy, Sullivan & Son, from producer Vince Vaughn (Old School) has received an order for a second season. Michael Wright, president and head of programming for TBS, TNT and Turner Classic Movies, announced the news of the pick-up. “‘Sullivan & Son’ has gotten off to a strong start, quickly building its own fan base. We’ve had a great time working with Steve Byrne, Vince Vaughn, Peter Billingsley, Rob Long and the wonderful cast and crew of ‘Sullivan & Son’, and we look forward to seeing the show continue to grow in 2013.”

The news of the season 2 pick-up comes after a successful summer for ‘Sullivan and Sons’. The series and its stars, Steve Byrne (Couples Retreat), Brian Doyle Murray (Caddyshack) and Christine Ebersole (One Life to Live), managed to draw in more than 2.5 million viewers each week with their hilarious comedy that centers around a son and his parents after he takes over the family bar in Pittsburgh.

Season 2 of the series is expected to air on TBS in the spring of 2013. ‘Sullivan & Son’ comes from show runner Rob Long and is executive produced by the already mentioned Vaughn and Peter Billingsley. Are you ready for a whole new year of the crazy characters?
