Two ‘iCarly’ Spin-offs In the Works

While iCarly may be saying goodbye after its five year run on Nickelodeon, some its stars won’t be straying too far. According to EW, actress Jeanette McCurdy, who plays the tough but likeable best friend of Miranda Cosgrove’s titular character, Sam Puckett, will be staring in her own spin off alongside ‘Victorious’ actress Ariana Grande who plays Cat Valentine.

Together the two will star in a show that chronicles them as both roommates and business partners as they launch a babysitting business. iCarly’s Gibby Gibson, played by actor Noah Munck, is also in line to star in his own spin-off series that currently has a working title of ‘Gibby’.

In the forthcoming show Gibby will move on to become a counseler at a recreational center where he befriends four middle school students. It is being reported that both McCurdy’s ‘Sam & Cat’ as well as ‘Gibby’ will kick off production this summer with executive producer Dan Schneider who has also brought ‘The Amanda Show’, ‘Drake & Josh’, and ‘Zoey 101’ to the network.

Meanwhile, iCarly will say goodbye this November on the network. Tell us what you think iCarly fans, are you ready for the spin-offs of both ‘Sam & Cat’ and ‘Gibby’?
