Actor Michael Raymond-James to Appear on ‘Once Upon a Time’

He may be best known for his killer role (literally) on the first season of ‘True Blood’ as well as his role in the acclaimed but short-lived FX drama ‘Terriers’, but come this fall, actor Michael Raymond-James will be showing up on the ABC fairytale drama Once Upon a Time and he will be a prince, no a wizard, no a pirate….

Well, to be honest no one seems to know exactly what role Raymond-James will be playing on the popular new drama except that it’s a “mysterious new character”. Let the assumptions begin given the fact that Captain Hook has already been cast, a new prince will come to Storybrooke and a brave Knight will make an appearance.

Besides the TV credits mentioned above, Raymond-James has appeared in several recent episodes of ‘The Walking Dead’ as well as guest roles in TV shows like ‘CSI’, ‘Medium’, ‘Boston Legal’, ‘Life’, ‘Law & Order” Special Victims Unit’ and ‘Saving Grace’. He also had a role in the box office film ‘Black Snake Moan’ and he will appear in the upcoming Tom Cruise flick ‘Jack Reacher’.

The second season of ‘Once Upon a Time’ will begin on ABC on Sunday, September 30 at 8/7c. [Source: Entertainment Weekly]
