‘Ben And Kate’ And ‘The Mindy Kaling Project’ Set For Online Debuts

Fox’s newest comedy series Ben and Kate as well as The Mindy Kaling Project will debut episodes online prior to their scheduled premiere dates this Fall on the network. Scheduled to be released on August 27th on Facebook, the two freshman shows will also be available for fans to check out on platforms such as Yahoo.Com, Fox.Com, Hulu, AOL and Xfinity.

By streaming both shows prior to their air date, Fox hopes that fans will fall in love, spreading the word about two great shows on the network’s line-up. ‘The Mindy Kaling Project’ showcases the titular character who ‘Office’ fans have grown to love over the years in a storyline that follows a successful career woman who needs to jump start her sad and pathetic personal life. The series was both created and written by Mindy Kaling, who will also executive produce alongside Howard Klein (The Office), Matt Warburton (The Simpsons) and Michael Spillman (Modern Family).

‘Ben and Kate’ will feature actors Dakota Johnson (21 Jump Street) and Nat Faxon (Bad Teacher) “as a pair of odd-couple siblings – one a responsible single mom; the other an exuberant dreamer – who reunite to help raise Kate’s daughter, Maddie,” played by Maggie Elizabeth Jones.

‘Ben and Kate’ will make their official on air debut September 25th at 8:30pm est followed by ‘The Mindy Kaling’ Project at 9pm est.
