FX’s ‘Louie’ Season Four Announced & More Russell Brand

The FX Network has signed on for more Louis. The announcement over the series’ fourth season pick up was shared by FX’s General Manager John Landgraf when he shared the news this past Saturday at a Beverly Hills press tour according to EW. The renewal comes off of the heels of comedian Louis CK’s Emmy Nomination for his role on the hilarious show. The cast and crew behind ‘Louis’ weren’t the only comedy vehicle to receive good news.

England’s very own funnyman Russell Brand was also commended for his new freshman late night show Brand X. The network has decided to pick up seven additional episodes of the new series that will now run into the fall. The network has announced however that the show will undergo some changes. “There’s many changes were going to be making to Brand X … I’m truly excited by the week to week creative growth through the five episodes that have aired to date,” Landgraf said.

With ‘Louie’ season four now on the popular network’s line-up, coupled with Russell Brand’s ‘Brand X’, it looks like FX will be pulling in the ratings. What do you think about the renewal of both comedy shows? Let us know below.
