Sofia Vergara To Guest On ‘The Cleveland Show’ & ‘Family Guy’

While ‘Modern’ Family may be wrapped up in a legal battle of sorts, one of its leading ladies is still keeping her head up and keeping busy. Sofia Vergara, who fans know well as Gloria, will make a guest appearance in two animated series this fall according to EW.

First up, Vergara will show up in Fox’s Family Guy as Peter Griffin’s lover in an episode where the family patriarch will play a telenovela hunk with Vergara as his sexy sidekick. The ‘Modern Family’ star will pull double duty in the episode, as she will also be voicing a woman who sells roses at restaurant where Quagmire will be at, attempting to bribe Peter for a favor. The performer will show up in the 11th season of the series.

Fans will the get to hear Vergara’s unique voice once again on The Cleveland Show as well. The actress, who was featured on the animated comedy back in a 2009 episode as the voice of Senora Chapula, will take on the role of Tia Sofia, a woman who tries to get Cleveland to throw Jr. a 15th birthday party celebration.

Vergara is currently working on the forthcoming movies, ‘Fading Gigolo’ and ‘Machete Kills’. She has previously been seen in ‘The Three Stooges’, ‘New Year’s Eve’, ‘Happy Feet Two’, ‘The Smurfs’, ‘Men in Trees’ and ‘Dirty Sexy Money’.
