H+ Is A Must-Watch Web Series And It’s Not Just Because of Its Cast [Interviews] July 25, 2012 Featured, Interviews, News We don’t usually talk about web series here on TV Equals because all of that is covered on our sister site Web Series Channel (you should check it out if you’re a fan of web series), but I did want to talk about Warner Bros’ upcoming web series H+ which premieres on August 8th. (You can also read my article about it on Web Series Channel) I was lucky enough to attend a screening which screened about 90 minutes of footage (about half of the series) and it was amazing. I haven’t been able to shut up about it ever since and I cannot wait for August 8th to get here so that I can not only rematch it all, but also see the rest. So what is H+ about? H+ takes place in the future where people are being implanted with a chip called “HPlus” into their nervous systems that allows them to access the Internet 24 hours a day just by thinking it. Unfortunately, on the day of the “event” a virus causes a third of the world’s population to die instantly. What we end up being witness to is the event, along with what happened before and what happens after. Sounds cool right?! Well, it is. Writers/creators John Carbrera and Cosimo De Tommaso crafted an amazing script and it was transformed into an even more impressive series by director Stewart Hendler. And did I mention the cast? There might be a few familiar faces in H+ for all you TV fans since H+ stars Alexis Denisof (“Angel,” “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”), Sean Gunn (“Super,” “Gilmore Girls”), David Clayton Rogers (“Jane by Design”), and many more. While at Comic-Con, we were lucky to be able to talk with a few of the people involved. In the videos below you will find interviews with series cast Alexis Denisof, Sean Gunn, David Clayton Rogers, director Stewart Hendler and writer/creator John Cabrera. Find out what they had to say below. Also make sure to check the H+ official YouTube page and/or the H+ page on Web Series Channel and don’t miss the premiere on August 8th. Finally, I also included the trailer for the series below all the videos. I always find myself rooting for web series and I hope this one turns out great. Sandrine Sahakians I think you will enjoy it. I was pretty blown away by how good it was and not just for a web series, even for a regular series. I’d be curious to hear what you think once you’ve seen it.
