New Faces to Join Cast of Glee for Its Fourth Season

Graduation took place on Glee during the third season’s finale and that means that there will be new faces at McKinley High School when ‘Glee’ returns for its fourth season on FOX this fall. [Try to say that four times fast!]

After a nationwide search, actors Dean Geyer (pictured above left) and Jacob Artist (pictured above right) have landed roles on the musical comedy that focuses on a group of ambitious and talented kids who escape the harsh realities of high school by joining a glee club where they find strength, acceptance and ultimately their voice.

In the season premiere, Rachel Berry (portrayed by Lea Michele) lands in New York City to attend NYADA and meets Brody Weston (Geyer), a handsome upperclassman who shows an interest in her. Meanwhile, back at McKinley, Puck’s (portrayed by Mark Salling) bad boy younger half-brother, Jake Puckerman (Artist), tries out for the glee club, but his attitude could derail his audition.

TV viewers who watched the short-lived FOX drama ‘Terra Nova’ will recognize Dean Geyer as the young military officer who dated Maddy Sheridan (Naomi Scott). He was also a contestant on ‘Australian Idol”.

Jacob Artist is a relative newcomer, but he did have a small role in the Lifetime movie ‘Blue Lagoon: The Awakening’ and appeared in an episode of the ABC Family comedy ‘Melissa and Joey’.

FOX has set the fourth season premiere of ‘Glee’ for Thursday, September 13 at 9/8c.
