Details for Upcoming ‘Doctor Who’ Episodes Revealed

The longest running series of all time – Doctor Who – will be back on BBC One in the UK later this year with five new episodes followed by the show’s Christmas special and another eight new episodes in 2013.

Details immerged last week via Comic Con 2012 about the first three episodes; including the much anticipated season premiere entitled “Asylum of The Daleks”, the second episode “Dinosaurs On A Spaceship” that will feature one of biggest monsters to face down the Doctor (ever) and the third episode entitled “A Town Called Mercy” that will transplant the doctor in a “full blooded western”.

According to “Doctor Who” head writer and executive producer Steven Moffat, episode two will feature “some of the most monstrous sets we’ve ever built; we took one look at Chris Chibnall’s brilliant script and said to ourselves ‘We’re going to need a bigger corridor’.”

It should also be noted that the third episode was filmed in Spain and was written by Toby Whithouse (the man behind the original ‘Being Human’).

Details have yet to be announced by BBC America for when ‘Doctor Who’ will air here in the States, but the popular series will be back. [Source: BBC]
