Actresss Clea Duvall to Appear on ‘American Horror Story’

The cast for the second season of American Horror Story just got bigger.

It was announced today via TV Line that actress Clea Duvall, best known for her work on ‘Carnivale’, will appear in multiple episodes of the FX thriller. Details are scarce on what role Duvall will have in the series, though.

The second season of the much-buzzed-about series will be set in the 1960s at an East Coast asylum for the criminally insane run by returning cast member Jessica Lange. Among other season one returnees are Sarah Paulson, Zachary Quinto, Evan Peters and Lily Rabe, who – like Lange – will all be playing different characters.

Season 2 will also include new faces such as actress Chloe Sevigny (‘Big Love’), singer Adam Levine (‘The Voice’), actor Joseph Fiennes (‘FlashForward’), Oscar nominated actor James Crowell, actor Chris Zylka (‘The Secret Circle’) and French actress Lizzie Brochere.

Duvall’s credits include the box office films ‘Can’t Hardly Wait’, ‘She’s All That’, ‘Zodiac’ and ‘The Grudge’ as well as appearance in TV shows like ‘Heroes’, ‘Bones’, ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ and the short-lived ‘The Event’.

‘American Horror Story’ will begin shooting episodes for its second season starting next week with episodes set to air on FX this fall.
