Bent Actress Amanda Peet To Guest Star On ‘The Good Wife’

Bent (NBC) "HD; A-Game" Episode 3 & 4 (5)

Actress Amanda Peet has been cast in the legal drama The Good Wife, TV Guide is reporting. Peet, who is best known for her work in ‘The X Files: I Want To Believe’ and ‘Bent’, will show up in the new season that kicks off on September 30th.

In a recurring role the actress will play a military lawyer who Alicia (played by Julianna Margulies) will represent in a sexual assault case. Working together both Alicia and Peet’s alter ego will bond and become close, throwing a wrench in any type of reconciliation between Alicia and Kalinda. Aside from Peet’s role in season four of the series, actors Nathan Lane (Modern Family), Marc Warren (Wanted), Maura Tierney (ER) and Kristen Chenoweth (Glee) are all slated to make guest appearances.

Fans know Peet best for her roles over the years in the movie ‘2012’, ‘Identity’, ‘A Lot Like Love’, ‘Somethings Gotta Give’, the hit comedy series ‘How I Met Your Mother’, ‘Wainy Days’, ‘Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip’, ‘Syriana’, and ‘To the Wonder’. She is also a part of the upcoming films ‘The Way, Way Back’ and ‘Identity Thief’.
