Lost Alum Elizabeth Mitchell Joins This Fall’s ‘Revolution’

The new NBC drama Revolution is gaining a familiar face in the form of ‘Lost’ alum Elizabeth Mitchell. The well-known actress, who recently appeared in the short-lived remake of ‘V’ on ABC, has joined the cast of the drama, replacing actress Andrea Roth (‘Rescue Me’).

‘Revolution’ comes from the creative minds of JJ Abrams (‘Lost’ and ‘Alias’) and Eric Kripke (‘Supernatural’) and follows a group of people, led by Miles (Billy Burke of ‘Twilight’ fame), struggling to survive in a world where all forms of energy have ceased to exist. Among the cast members are Giancarlo Esposito (‘Breaking Bad’ and ‘Once Upon a Time’), David Lyons (‘The Cape’) and Tim Guinee (‘The Good Wife’).

Mitchell, according to Deadline will play Rachel Matheson, the mother of Charlie Matheson (newcomer Tracy Spiridakos) and Danny Matheson (newcomer Graham Rogers), as seen in flashbacks.

‘Revolution’ will air on NBC on Monday nights at 10/9c this fall.
